Pump Up Your Smoothies

Spinach. It’s rich in vitamin K, boosts the immune system, and can protect against heart disease, lung and prostate cancers, and other degenerative diseases. Plus, it’s low-cal and tastes good. Add a cup (or more) of spinach to your smoothies and you’ll not only increase your daily vegetable intake but also reap all the health benefits. Here are two recipes I’m crazy for right now.

These recipes are high in protein, low in fat, low-cal, and includes veggies without tasting like V8. Enjoy!
