On The Go with Chobani Simply 100
Do you ever get home from work and wonder why you want to eat everything in sight? I’ve had too many days so far this year (already!) where I’ve been so busy that I’ve forgotten to eat and hanger is a real thing. No bueno.
So today I’ve partnered with Chobani Simply 100 Greek yogurt as they’ve released two new flavors (the mixed berry is my favorite!) to share how they’re helping bring balance back into my life.
Like many of you working, Lean Girls, I don’t always have the time to cook or meal prep. To those who do, more power to ya! But rather than relying on my office’s endless supply of pretzels and sweets, Chobani Simply 100 has been my life saver.
The other day I struggled in my Soul Cycle class. For a moment I blamed my lack of energy for being out of shape, until I realized I hadn’t eaten enough that day.
Reminder: We need good food to fuel our bodies in order to answer those hundreds of emails, work out, and stay on top of our game!
I’ve always been a fan of Chobani non-fat Greek yogurt because it’s always had the lowest sugar content. In the spirit of finding something new low in sugar and packed with flavor, Simply 100 is a great alternative. Flavored yogurt typically has over 25 grams of sugar, which is the equivalent of 6.25 teaspoons of granulated sugar!
I don’t know about you, but when I’m looking for a snack on the go, or in the morning pre-spin grabbing something I know tastes good and is good for me. This is where label reading becomes key. If I’m ever consuming 25 grams of sugar, it’d better be a splurge and I’d prefer it in the form of a treat like ice cream.
